This research aims to analyze the influence of various variables like parental expectations and support, community perceptions of the livestock sector, social environmental support, peer influence, gender roles, and environmental issues. This study located in the city of Malang with the target of animal husbandry students from the campus campuses that meet the criteria. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 students. A purposive sampling technique was used to capture relevant respondents, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that parental support and peer support significantly influenced students' interest in owning a livestock business. Moral and material support from parents proved to be able to shape students' positive attitudes and confidence in their job prospects in this field. The findings suggest that social support from the immediate environment plays a crucial role in shaping young people's interest and readiness to build a livestock business in the future.
