Peranan Wanita Tani Dalam Peningkatan Pendapatan Usahatani Sayuran Sawi Di Kota Jambi

Abstrak

Urban areas are usually synonymous with non-agricultural development, but there are parts of Jambi City that still carry out horticultural crop cultivation activities as suppliers of traditional market vegetables in Jambi City. The objectives of this study are 1) To determine the labor time of farm women in mustard vegetable farming in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. 2) To determine the income of farm women in mustard vegetable farming in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. 3) To analyze the contribution of farm women's income to mustard vegetable farming income in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. This research was conducted from June to July 2024, in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. The number of sample farm women in Paal Merah District, Jambi City is 32 people. The analysis method used is the statistical method. The results showed that: 1) The average amount of labor time of farm women in mustard vegetable farming is 15.03 HKSP per growing season, where the largest amount of work time given by farm women is in maintenance activities which is 11.25 HKSP. 2) The average family income of farm women is Rp.2,022,662/Family/MT or Rp.19,638,419/Ha/MT. And the average income of farm women on mustard vegetable farming income in one growing season in the planting period of June-July 2024 is Rp. 713,797, - / Farmer / MT.3) The contribution of farm women's income to family income is 35.28%. So that the contribution of farm women is classified as small in accordance with the measurement criteria, namely (<50%).
