Analisis Pendapatan Usaha Tani Kopi Di Gapoktan Suka Maju Desa Pace Kecamatan Silo Kabupaten Jember

Abstrak

Coffee plants are one of Indonesia's leading export commodities that have high economic value in the global market. Pace Village, where the majority of its residents work as coffee farmers and are members of the "Suka Maju" Farmer Group, faces challenges in the sustainability of coffee farming. Farming businesses that have been passed down from generation to generation are now considered less promising due to income instability, so that the younger generation is less interested in continuing coffee cultivation. The main factors influencing income instability are the frequency of harvests that only occur in certain months, inconsistent production, and low land efficiency. This study aims to analyze the income of coffee farming businesses of Gapoktan Suka Maju Members in Pace Village. The study used a quantitative descriptive analysis method with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the average production of green bean coffee was 906 Kg/Ha/Year with an average price of IDR 74,797,-/Kg, while ground coffee was 0.7 Kg/Ha/Year with an average price of IDR 175,000,-/Kg. Coffee farming income reached IDR 67,860,023,-/Ha/Year with an average production cost of IDR 8,327,749,-/Ha/Year, resulting in a net income of IDR 59,532,273,-/Ha/Year. The conclusion of the study shows that although coffee is the main source of income for farmers, optimization of cultivation and increasing land efficiency need to be done in order to attract the interest of the younger generation and improve farmer welfare. The implications of this study provide insight for policy makers and stakeholders in efforts to develop sustainable strategies for coffee farming in Pace Village.
