Uji Daya Hasil Kedelai (Glycine Max (L.)Merrill) Tiga Galur Harapan Jember Produksi Tinggi

Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is one of the important food crops in Indonesia. However, domestic soybean production has not been able to meet national needs. To achieve food self-sufficiency, one effort that can be made is to develop new soybean varieties that have high productivity and an early harvest age. This study aims to determine the yield of five promising lines in comparison with their corresponding varieties. The study was conducted from October 2024 to January 2025 at the experimental field of the Jember State Polytechnic, Jl. Mastrip, East Krajan, Sumbersari, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency, East Java. The experimental design used was a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), which was repeated 4 times. The research factors consisted of one factor, namely 5 promising lines consisting of GHJ-1, GHJ-2, GHJ-3, GHJ-4, GHJ-5 and the comparison varieties Dega and Wilis. The observation data were analyzed using SPSS software, then continued with the BNJ test at a level of 5% if it showed a significantly different effect or a very significantly different effect .The results of the study showed that the genotypes of prospective varieties with superior characters, namely flowering age and harvest age of the five promising lines were faster than the Wilis comparison variety, and the production results, namely seed weight per plot and seed weight per hectare were heavier than the Wilis and Dega comparison varieties.
