Pengaruh Berbagai Jumlah Mata Tunas Pada Pertumbuhan Tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.) Varietas Bululawang

Abstrak

Propagation of conventional sugar cane is usually done vegetatively planting sugar cane mules. Planting sugarcane mules can be done with 1 bud or more. In sugar cane planting is often done by planting use mule 2 eyes and 3 buds, but usually in farmers too sugar cane planting is carried out with more than 4 buds or whole stems (bump). With the difference in the model of planting sugarcane mule at the farm level then necessary evaluation and optimization of mules planting is best in terms of source of material and how to plant in order to achieve the expected results. This research aims to determine the effect of various numbers of buds on early growth of sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum L.) Bululawang varieties. This study used a Randomized Block Design, with 4 (four) the treatments were mules 2, 4, 6 and 8 buds and 6 (six) replications. From the results variance explained that the 4 treatments were not significantly different / ns seen from the parameters of plant height, number of leaves and number of tillers.
