Respon Tanaman Mentimun Terhadap Aplikasi Pupuk Kascing Dan Asam Amino: Implikasinya Terhadap Produksi Dan Mutu Benih

This study aims to optimize the production and quality of cucumber seeds through the use of organic vermicompost and amino acid fertilizers. This research activity was carried out in the rice field area of Wringintelu Village, Puger District, Jember Regency, East Java Province in July 2024. Then continued with seed quality testing at the Jember State Polytechnic Seed Production Engineering Laboratory. This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors with each factor repeated 3 times. The data that has been obtained is then processed using analysis of variance, then further testing is carried out using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if the results are obtained with a significant effect. From the results of observations, it is known that the vermicompost fertilizer treatment showed a significant effect with the K1 level (240 grams) on harvest age (33.18), the K2 level (360 grams) on the number of fruits per plant (2.49), the K3 level (480 grams) on fruit weight per plant (1.63) and the K2 level (360 grams) on seed production per hectare (463.62). Amino acids had a significant effect at the A1 level (5 ml) on the number of pithy seeds per plant (272.16). The interaction between the two factors had a significant influence on the K2A2 level (360 grams and 10 ml) on flowering age (22.40) and the K2A1 level (360 grams and 5 ml) on the weight of the fruit seeds per plant (11.62).
