Pengaruh Pupuk Ab Mix Dan Gandasil Dengan Ec Berbeda Terhadap Produksi Melon Hidroponik Sistem Wick

Melon plants contain lots of vitamins and have a sweet taste, and the planting time is quite short so many farmers like to plant them. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of AB Mix and Gandasil fertilizers on the growth and yield of melon plants at different EC levels. This study was conducted in July-September 2024 at the Teaching Factory Smart Green House of Jember State Polytechnic with a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 repeated treatments, each treatment had 3 samples so that there were 72 experimental units. The treatments include P0 (AB mix), P1 (1⁄2 AB Mix + 1⁄2 Gandasil, EC 3), P2 (1⁄2 AB Mix + 1⁄2 Gandasil, EC 4) and P3 (1⁄2 AB Mix + 1⁄2 Gandasil, EC 5). Based on the research results, it shows that the use of AB Mix and Gandasil fertilizers at different EC on the production of hydroponic melons with a wick system has a significant effect on vegetative observation parameters, namely plant height, number of leaves, number of female flowers at 4 MST and number of female flowers that become fruit at 6 MST. While the generative observation parameters have no significant effect (ns) on the weight of melon fruit, fruit diameter, fruit flesh thickness, fruit skin thickness and melon fruit sweetness level. This occurs due to less supportive environmental conditions and lack of accuracy in providing nutrients.
