Climate change, drought, and vulnerability to food insecurity are among the primary challenges in agriculture, especially in drought-prone regions. Severe water shortages significantly reduce crop productivity. One promising solution to mitigate this abiotic stress is the use of moringa leaf extract (MLE) as a natural biostimulant. This article investigated the effects of MLE on plants under drought stress. The analysis reveals that MLE enhances morphological, physiological, and biochemical responses, including increased antioxidant enzyme activity, improved photosynthetic efficiency, and better water use efficiency. Plants treated with MLE exhibited superior growth and yield even under limited water conditions. These findings underscore the significant potential of MLE in supporting sustainable agricultural practices and strengthening food security. Further research is needed to determine optimal dosages, application methods, and the underlying mechanisms of MLE for effective field implementation.
