Potensi Beras Jagung Sebagai Media Perbanyakan Massal Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Konidia Beberapa Beauveria Bassiana Isolat Lokal Jember

Beauveria bassiana is a group of entamopathogenic fungi which is often used as a bioinsecticide to control several target pests on plants. This fungus has been widely used in biological pest control and has shown effective results in controlling various types of insect pests, however use on a wide scale is still limited. This is what encourages continuous production of biological control agents to always be available by carrying out mass multiplication using corn rice as an alternative propagation medium. This research aims to determine the potential of corn rice as an alternative medium for propagating B. bassiana for several local Jember isolates. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the factor of origin of local Jember isolates consisting of B1: Jember Isolate 1, isolated from the Oryctes rhinoceros insect, at an altitude of 89 meters above sea level, B2: Jember Isolate 2, isolated from the Tenebrio molitor insect, at an altitude of 30 meters above sea level, B3: Jember Isolate 3, isolated from the Hypothenemus hampei insect, at an altitude of 52 meters above sea level, B4: Jember Isolate 4, isolated from the Acrocercops cramerella insect, at an altitude of 52 meters above sea level. The results of the activity showed that corn rice media did not affect the growth of the biological agent B. bassiana local isolate of Jember, but it did affect the density of conidia and had the potential as a propagation medium with the best treatment from the local isolate of Jember isolated from the H. hampei insect at an altitude of 52 meters above sea level with an average of 30.33 x 109 conidia/ml at 35 days after inoculation (dai)
