Abstrak

Income is a very important variable in supporting the sustainability of a business. With the positive income it gets, then a business can survive, develop and be sustainable. However, if negative income is achieved, the business has the potential to stop operating. For this reason, knowledge about the difference in income from one event to another is important. This study aims to determine the comparison of income in the tofu business before the COVID-19 pandemic in Cisambeng Village, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency. The research time is from October to December 2021 and the research design is descriptive. The research method uses survey techniques and the population is tofu business actors, totaling 30 craftsmen so that the sampling technique is carried out by census. Data analysis uses the rules of calculating income. The results showed that the income of the tofu business during the covid 19 pandemic decreased by 50% when compared to the income before the covid 19 pandemic. The results of this study are useful as information material for the Majalengka Regency Government to formulate policies in order to maintain the tofu business still exists in Indonesia. the area, considering that tofu has become an icon of this area after Sumedang.
