Alternatif Strategi Pengembangan Agribisnis Kopi Menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (Studi pada Agribisnis Kopi di Lereng Gunung Rengganis, Kabupaten Jember, Indonesia)

Coffee (Coffea) is one of the potential plantation products in Jember Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The amount of coffee production in Jember is largely supported by the amount of coffee production in several areas located on the slopes of Mount Rengganis. However, the potential for coffee agribusiness on the slopes of Mount Rengganis has not been fully optimized. Human resources and coffee institutions are two important elements in the development of coffee agribusiness on the slopes of Mount Rengganis, Jember. The purpose of this study is to choose a priority strategy in an effort to develop coffee agribusiness on the slopes of Mount Rengganis, Jember using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results showed that the strategy in developing coffee agribusiness on the slopes of Mount Rengganis was to optimize institutional functions and roles in making policies that support the development of coffee agribusiness through 3 institutions, namely: (1) government institutions, (2) farmer institutions, and (3) institutions research.
