Studi Komparatif Pupuk Guano Dan Pupuk Kandang Ayam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Pembungaan Krisan Potong (Chrysanthemum Morifolium) Varietas White Fiji

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of guano fertilizer and chicken manure on the vegetative growth and floral quality of cut chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) of White Fiji variety. The experiment was conducted over three months at the Teaching Factory Horticulture, Highland Rembangan, State Polytechnic of Jember. The experimental design employed an independent two-sample T-test with 70 plants divided evenly into two treatments: guano fertilizer and chicken manure. Observed parameters included plant height, leaf count, stem diameter, and flower diameter. Results revealed that chicken manure significantly enhanced vegetative traits such as plant height and leaf number, whereas guano fertilizer significantly increased flower diameter during the generative phase. Both fertilizers met the Indonesian National Standard for organic matter content. Guano fertilizer demonstrated strong potential as a high-quality organic input for ornamental cut flower production
